Louis Vuitton hosted a dinner in honour of Richard Prince, on the occasion of his Continuation exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery, on June 24th.

The dinner took place inside a marquee specially prepared at the Serpentine Gallery and inspired by the “After Dark Tent” of the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2008 show in Paris, which carried creations issued from the collaboration between Richard Prince and Marc Jacobs, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton.

The event marked Richard Prince’s first major solo exhibition in a Public Art Gallery in the UK. The dinner celebrated the collaboration between Marc Jacobs and Richard Prince and was hosted by Marc Jacobs, Lord Palumbo, Chairman of the Trustees of the Serpentine Gallery and Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton
